Alina Vergnano (b. 1989, Italy) holds a BA in illustration and animation from European Institute of Design in Turin (IT). Vergnano’s artistic practice originates in drawing, but has developed into different media such as printmaking, sculpture, animation and painting. Her sketching style has a light and effortless quality, capturing flowy gestures and lifting motions. The primary focus of her practice is human emotion, desire, memories and other states of mind that are shapeless and which constantly change.

Vergnano is based and works between Bergen (NO) and Gothenburg (SE).
