Alina Vergnano art
Alina Vergnano’s artistic practice originates in drawing but has developed into different media such as printmaking, sculpture, animation and painting. Her sketching style has a light and effortless quality, capturing flowy gestures and lifting motions. The primary focus of her practice is human emotion, desire, memories and other states of mind that are shapeless and which constantly change. Vergnano is inspired by an intuitive state of mind and the technical limitations, that the chosen materials, contain. Her practice is defined by constantly challenging and changing the medium and processes, once she feels confident with a certain way of depicting a subject matter, to then start over with a new approach. In her works she aims to reach for a quality of immediacy.
Alina Vergnano technique
Vergnano works with both painting, drawing and various printing techniques. The artworks presented on this page are both screen prints, and original artworks of charcoal. You can also browse all other artists here.
