KC Ortiz (born in Chicago, Il, USA, 1978) is a self-taught photographer, illustrator and painter. He began his path in art at the age of 12 by painting graffiti in his hometown. His work examines the constant quest for freedom by the individual, both consciously and physically, in a landscape occupied by borders, obstacles, and distractions. 

The artist lives and works in Copenhagen, Denmark.
