Mikkel Ørsted

Mikkel Ørsted (b. 1988) is a visual artist working primarily with painting and printing. He holds an MFA from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts from 2020. Ørsted's works often contain rudiments of space and natural elements, highly stylized into an abstract sensuous idiom. His works explore not only a visual abstraction but more an abstraction of perception itself. His aim is to expand not only notions of perception but also of beauty.
