Astri Styrkestad Haukaas (b. 1986, Norway) is a visual artist working across different media. Haukaas' works are non-figurative and explore the way different materials react to and interact with one another. Her inspiration lies in a poetic relationship between nature and the human consciousness as the creator of subjective memories. A key component in her practice is her eye for colours, which span from deep melancholic palettes to feathery light colour schemes.
